School and Church
St. Mary's Island Church of England (Aided) Primary School opened in 1999.
The school has been designed to accommodate over 400 children, with up to 60 children in each school year. The school provides facilities for a church meeting every Sunday at 11am.
The school has two full sized inter-linked school playing fields. The goal posts were donated by Countryside Maritime Limited.
There is an active P.T.A. at St. Mary’s Island School. It organises fayres and fund raising events from time to time.
